introduction by Alice Shaffer
A few weeks ago I shared a post Budget and Money Talk that discussed money. Today I am sharing a blog post that I found that talks about the correlation between tracking food and tracking expenses. I will freely admit that I DESPISE tracking food. Probably why I am not super successful with weight loss. This post though has me rethinking the entire “tracking food” and “tracking spending”.
Conscious Eating. Conscious Spending.
By writing everything down, you’re committing to conscious spending. Or conscious eating, as it were. As my friend pointed out, she’s not fooling anyone but herself if she “cheats” by not writing something down that she ate; after all, she’s not publishing it anywhere, or even sharing it with anyone. The only person she’s lying to is herself if she doesn’t commit to paper what she actually put inside her body.

Question: Do you find your eating and spending are related?
