Important Information and Resources for Nannies:

In light of the recent events at Penn State and other similar incidents being reported around the country, we thought that it was appropriate that we share with you 3 previous Regarding Nannies posts on this topic.

All three were written by Myrna Alphonse and are related to mandated reporting. These articles contain important information that all nannies should know.

In her article from August 2009, Myrna reminds us: “While it is not our job as nannies to dictate “good parenting” choices, it is our responsibility to report cases of abuse or neglect while children under the age of 18 are under our care. ”
