Rosalind is a third-generation small business owner and “momtrepreneur.” She currently co-owns Trusting Connections, Tucson’s premier nanny agency and serves as the company’s Placement Director and Sales and Marketing Director. Rosalind has worked with children in many capacities as a former professional nanny, an educator and a mother. As a two-time business owner, she has extensive experience with business operations and management, sales, marketing and PR. Rosalind is also the author of Tucson Poppins for Parents: Your Modern Day Child Care Expert, a blog featured on the Tucson Citizen and has made guest appearances on KVOA with Allison Alexander discussing topics relevant to families.

Rosalind joined forces with long-time friend Caroline Malkin, a certified postpartum doula and the two women brought their many years of experience in the child care and education industries together and opened Trusting Connections Nanny Agency. Trusting Connections officially opened for business in August of 2011 and experienced early success. Today, this full-scale agency employs a team of nearly twenty talented nannies, housekeepers and personal assistants and has established a large and growing placement pool which consists of nannies awaiting a permanent placement. The agency is actively involved in the local community, has hosted parenting classes and other special agency events and has become a trusted resource for families in Tucson.

Rachelle is the Operations & Placements Manager of Placement Solutions, a Melbourne (Australia) based niche recruitment firm specialising in In-Home Childcare and household organising solutions in Australia. Rachelle has been in Management since early 2011.

Rachelle began with Placement Solutions in 2010 in a recruitment and placement role. This role began with offering assistance to families who were enquiring about In-Home Care services, and facilitating the application and approval of government child care funds to these families. This involved the matching and placing of suitable In-Home Child Care Educators a.k.a. Nannies with families across the Melbourne metropolitan area and beyond, and continued support and follow-up contact for families and Nannies.

Rachelle’s background is in recruitment, sales and childcare. Her recruitment experience developed over 6 years with one of Melbourne’s largest consumables companies. She managed the end to end monthly recruitment and training intake for 3 offices. Prior to this Rachelle worked in childcare for 8 years, starting as an assistant and progressing to a team leader. This is where her passion began with working with children and their families to provide education, care and support in the early years of a child’s development.

A culmination of her experience in these fields has led Rachelle to have a vast knowledge of finding and retaining quality In-Home Carers and understanding the needs of a family looking for their right match. Rachelle is currently on the National In-Home Care Association (NICA) committee (2013-2014). She is also member of the INA and this is her second conference.

Jami Dennis
