I ran across a Facebook page for Color with Mimi and just loved the “doodles” and other things posted there. Mimi and her niece loved drawing together, but a move separated them. Mimi came up with the idea of sharing “pictures” with her niece via a website so they could still draw together despite the physical distance between them. Color With Mimi was started in January 2013 to share the drawings with others. Each month Mimi releases 12 new pictures and designs for others to enjoy. Folks can print the pictures for free. Mimi hopes to inspire others to express themselves through coloring and her Color with Mimi site.
Here are some awesome samples from her Facebook photo album of how you can turn a bunch of “dots” into some cool faces. Make sure to then go visit Color with Mimi to find some great pages to print out and let your imagination and colors run wild. There are even awesome alphabet letters. You can color and cut them out to form words.
Let us and Mimi know what pages you work on!
