February is shaping up nicely with children being able to go back to school for an entire week. No snow days have been reported in the New England area finally. Hopefully your children are back in school as well.
Black History Month is celebrated in February. Last year, Myrna Alphonse shared a wonderful post with us. I thought I would share it again with everyone. There is a wonderful teaching lesson while having a birthday party for Martin Luther King Jr.
Thursday Table Talk: Black History IS American History from February 2010
Last week we had some incredible posts. We started the week of f with another classroom installment of Nanny 101. On Tuesday, we had a new contributor to the blog from former nanny Desiree and her son in honor of Dental Care Month. Great experiment to try out with the kids-even if you do it for yourself. Have you ever wondered what to do with a bleach pen besides “cleaning” up clothes? Then you need to check out Creative Nanny Wednesday for the creative answer. On Thursday Newborn Care Specialist, Cortney Gibson, shared with us about the tragic loss of her sister and how her family gives back to the community in honor of her sister, Molly. It is truly an amazing story and simple way that you can help as well in honor of Molly. If you have wondered how to give back in your community there are helpful tips as well. On Friday we concluded with Breedlove & Associates post on missing W-2s.
Stay tuned on Monday for a very exciting announcement about a new addition to Regarding Nannies. You won’t want to miss this announcement! Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and week ahead!
