Can you believe there are only 107 days till Christmas 2011? I can’t believe I am even typing that actually. As nannies we just have started school this week with the majority of our charges, but to think about the holidays already is a bit crazy to swallow. I ran across this website this week called Organized Christmas. I know that many of my nanny & non-nanny friends get really involved into Christmas and other fall & winter holidays. This site has some awesome tips for staying on top of things and not being stressed and crazed over the arrival of Christmas. You may asking yourself why this is not a Tuesday Tip, the reason is that having a plan in action helps folks keep on budget and task. Having plans of what you are going to buying for the holidays and budgeting it will help save you money. Stress also can cause people to overspend and throw their budgets out the window because they are too frazzled to keep to their lists. This is why I just loved the Organized Christmas site and all of the links I found on the site. People tend to spend overspend and go further in debt for Christmas then any other time of the year.

Have you ever wanted to have a clean house and plan for when you get to Christmas? Well there is a Holiday Grand Plan 2011. If I had my own house I would totally be following this. It started on August 28, which was two weeks ago so there is time to catch up and get on schedule.
If you would rather just do a six weeks to Christmas plan you can check out Christmas Countdown 2011, which starts on Sunday October 23. It has six weeks of themes with activities and plans to follow. If you would like to have a bible study incorporated as well they provide weekly ones via Countdown Bible Study

It is rather crazy to think of Christmas being 107 days away as here on the east coast in the past two weeks we have had an earthquake, hurricane Irene, and now record breaking flash floods. Hopefully this means that winter will be nice to us.
What Christmas plans do you have already?

I actually started using Organized Christmas last Christmas time. The printables are so easy to use and it helped save me a lot of time and money. Just the fact I wrote down where I hid the presents made it worth it.
