Regarding Nannies Development Team Member
As professional nannies and parents, we often struggle with keeping ourselves organized much less the kids. I came across Amber Cusson’s, a Certified Professional Organizer, website and blog. Amber has so many great blog posts on organizing. Last week on Tuesday Tips, Dawn Hong shared with us how she gets the playroom ready for a new year. I thought I would share with you some great tips on getting your kids to help with organizing! Wouldn’t that be an awesome 2011 if you can get your kids to join in on the organization in the family?
Here is a snippet of Amber’s 5 Ways to Teach Kids Organization Skills:
1. Daily clean up toys with the kids.
2. Be intentional with toys.
3. Store Toys Logically.
4.Donate toys on a regular basis.
5. Integrate organization to your daily family routines.
Make sure to visit Amber’s blog for the rest of the article “Organizing With Your Kids: Teaching Kids Organization Skills”
But what if you are working with preteens and older teens, like I do. Well don’t worry Amber has some awesome tips on how to organize them as well with her blog post : Five Tips to Control Clutter in Your Teen or College Students Room. I will let you know how these work out with my teenager next week.
