National Nanny Training Day 2013 is a little over a month away. On Saturday, April 20 over 2000 nannies will gather nationwide in 40 events happening across the country.
NNTD was created by Lora Brawley, founder and owner of Nanny Biz Reviews. You can read how it all began here.
This year, in addition to NNTD, top nannies will be honored at their local events with the SPARK Awards!
Registrations are OPEN for many events across the country and selling out fast!
Events are being coordinated by nannies, agencies and nanny support groups.
National companies are stepping up and supporting the event by donating product to the amazing bags each attendee will receive, donated by 4NannyTaxes.com. National donors include AllerMates, International Nanny Association, Domestic Estate Managers Association, My Precious Kid , SitterCycle and more!
Why do you feel education is important for nannies? What are your words of wisdom to nannies to have them attend an NNTD event in their area?

Regarding Nannies Development Team
The workshops are practical and helpful, and (I can speak for the Boston area event) geared for nannies of all experience levels.
And learning new things gets us excited about our jobs all over again!
But the best thing about attending a local NNTD event is meeting a lot of local nannies. Nannies are the only people who understand what we do for a living! Nannies at these events find other nannies who live or work near them, who they “click” with, and end up with friends to get together with after work. Or form playgroups, or just meet at the same parks.
