My products so far are paper flowers, paper flower bouquets, and dry erase weekly schedules/menu planners (I’m hoping to add pallet art and pallet furniture soon!)
*I have been a nanny for about 10 years and babysitting for 15.
*Although they might not have been my favorite working circumstances, I was very excited and blessed to be able to nanny for a year in New York.
*I’m an artistic, creative, and crafty person. I started selling the things I’ve been making as a way to earn extra cash flow instead of giving up my weekends for a more traditional job.
*I’ve had to put about $100 into supplies so far. I just started so I’ve only made about $60 profit so far but I expect to make quite a bit with Christmas fastly approaching. I’m planning on making Christmas flowers and create wreaths and bouquets from them!
*The purpose of my product is mostly decorative and the planners are meant for organization and functionality.
*So far the feedback I’ve received from fellow nannies has been positive but I haven’t really sold any to them yet as I just posted within the last 24 hours.
*I suggest getting your products out there. You really never know how successful you will be until you try. Try to keep your start-up costs as low as possible.
*I’m not sure of anything that I wish I knew starting out as I am just starting out myself.
*I would like to add that a percentage of all my profits will be going toward a charity called I Give H2ope! I so excited to be involved in this organization that brings clean, life saving water to Africa!!
